So Now What

Well now I am in what you might call a pickle. I really like this girl but oh my god what am I doing. So we continue texting over the next few days and I really do want to see her again. I ask her when we can get together again and she says 2 weeks. 2 weeks!! Are you crazy? I totally thought she was messing with me…but she wasn’t. If I wait 2 weeks to see her again then I guess I really do want to see her again. You guessed it….I wait. The next time I do get to pick her up at her house. But I get to park down by the mailbox and wait for her to come out. What!? I know what you are thinking….I must be an idiot. But I’m not. Seriously. But I really like this girl and want to see how this might work. Over the next few months we see each other on a regular basis. Mostly she comes over to my place because that is the safest. It’s complicated at this moment and she does not need to make things any more complicated. But here is the deal. I’m starting to have really strong feelings for her. So I need to decide right now. Do I continue in this relationship? There have been a few red flags but nothing that would tell me that we couldn’t make it work. Remember, I’m quite a bit older so as we start to go out more in public I do get some looks and that does bother me a little but it does not bother her. But I get it. She is young and beautiful….so why? We used to joke about that quite a bit. So remember what this story is all about. The 30 percent. How much someone is willing to deal with when you love someone and want to make the relationship work. What percentage of the relationship can be bad before you end it.
